The old standard, Pottery Barn, makes its first appearance on 365 Days of Fab Furniture with the Ashby Sleigh Bed ($1499-1699). We're really digging the reclaimed wood look of Ashby and think she would make an awesome, classic guest room bed.
Sometimes we ignore a guest room because we don't spend a lot of time in there, but it is often where you get to show off some design aplomb. Your guests get to live in (temporarily or otherwise) your style...so it's a great idea to put your best foot forward in the guest room. Ashby with some white bedding and classic white walls would look superb. Then throw a Bellamy Murphy painting on a wall and some vintage pieces and you get a solid, thoughtful (and not too complicated look).
