Clutter Book Club: Things Fall Apart

Let's face it...with Oprah off the air, there are far too few book clubs around these days.  So...your friends at Clutter, avid readers both, have decided to start our very own online book club (#ClutterBookClub) to enjoy some readings from Savannah authors, about the low country, or just some great works.  Please enjoy the first #CBC meeting and look forward to talking about Chinua Achebe's classic "Things Fall Apart" this week!!

Chinua Achebe's "Things Fall Apart" rocketed the Nigerian born author through the literary stratosphere after it was originally published in the late '50s.  To celebrate the life and work of the late, great author, Clutter's first choice for CBC is this beautiful tragedy that can be easily compared to the works of great Greek and Shakespearian works.

If you've read this remarkable story, please comment below and tell us how it moved you.  We are currently re-reading "TFA" and will be commenting all week on the blog!  Hope you enjoy Achebe as much as we have over the years (pictured is our high school copy of "Things Fall Apart").
