This Banana Republic ad in June's GQ serves full mosaic design inspiration. Love the way the blue toned tiles read...and blue and white is BACK in a big way. This chic chair is how to do blue and white in a modern and sophisticated way...it's not just your grandmother's go-to color combo anymore.

Brooke's Look: Size Does Matter

Whether you have a large wall or small nook to fill, make sure you consider the size of the art you are hanging. Above, there are two examples of the right art fitting a space...on top, a great 5'x5' piece fills a huge space on our stairs...and below, a small Katherine Sandoz fills a nook in our den. Each is framed by a good amount of wall on either side ensuring the art doesn't overwhelm the space, but also ensuring that the art is properly featured, centered, and enjoyed. Consider proportions when picking art for any room, and remember that size DOES matter.

Reality Recap: Real Housewives of New Jersey (02JUN13)

OMG...new season of Real Housewives of New Jersey means new drama, new insanity, and new taglines (!!)!

Season 5 picks up right where last season's reunion show left off...everybody hates Teresa, Jacqueline/Kathy/Melissa/Caroline are a little boring, and Joe Gorga is just trying to get his poison out. Throw Hurricane Sandy into the mix and some sass from little Gia, and you have the perfect start to what looks to be a rather explosive season. No fights yet, no christening drama...but it's just the beginning! What did y'all think of that SUPER awkward play-date?! And how about Caroline's meddling at dinner with Joe?!? So excited for #RHONJ Season 5!!!!

Clutter Book Club: The Wave

We're reading Susan Casey's phenomenal study of mammoth, hundred-footers, The Wave. This book is incredibly thrilling, and you'll feel like you're getting towed out to surf a giant wave right next to Laird Hamilton and the other big-wave surf legends on each page. Great book...hope you love it!

Obsessions of the Week: 02JUN to 08JUN13

Some things we're obsessed with this week:

• Carrie Brownstein in this American Express commercial. The "Portlandia"/Sleater-Kinney star rocks in everything she does and as multiple personalities in the AMEX spot, she makes us laugh at every commercial break. So funny!
• Langhorne Slim & The Law. "The Way We Move" is a brilliant song. Listen to it. Over and over and over again.
• Real Housewives of New Jersey! It's Season 5 of the ultra-trashy, sometimes-classy Bravo television series that pits outrageous family member against equally outrageous family member again and again. Season 5 premieres tonight (02JUN13)!!! Prepare for insanity...and a reality recap or two from us!
• Lovelane Designs' pillows at Clutter (above)! We are so stoked to have several Lane Huerta products in store this week. These fun pillows are rocking our world, and know they will rock yours (and your homes) too!
